'Finishing school makes Diploma students "industry fit", and it is a specialized and dedicated programme. The purpose programme is enhancing employability of qualified diploma holders. The students would be trained with qualitative skill, employment oriented dexterity, quantitative aptitude, soft skills and others required for their employment.
Kerala State Government has established finishing schools in all the Govt. Polytechnics in the state. It aims to provide skills both in technical and soft skills to students to facilitate their employability and play a part in the supply side issues of the industry.
